Gig Harbor Professional Firefighters IAFF Local #3390 endorse Bryan Chushcoff for Pierce County Prosecutor

Cody Kilborn, on behalf of the Gig Harbor Professional Firefighters IAFF Local #3390, has informed the campaign that the union endorses the election of former judge, Bryan Chushcoff, for Pierce County Prosecutor.

"I am proud of my support from public safety officers and honored to receive the endorsement of the Gig Harbor Firefighters, IAFF 3390.

A strong working relationship between the Prosecutor’s Office and local first responders is essential to public safety, accountability for crime victims, and justice for Pierce County residents.

Government’s most fundamental responsibility is to protect people, communities, and property from threats such as fire, crime, disaster, and public health hazards.

This protection must extend to the firefighters, law enforcement officers, and other first responders who serve on the front lines. Assaults against first responders must be taken seriously and prosecuted appropriately. Respect for their work must include accountability when they become the targets of crime.

Gig Harbor Firefighters, IAFF 3390, serve the approximately 50,000 residents of the City of Gig Harbor and the unincorporated Pierce County areas surrounding the city and provide the highest level of service to the citizens of the fire district.
